Brazil's pork export revenue reaches an all-time high in June

Brazilian pork exports (considering all products, fresh and processed) totaled 137,100 tons in June, according to the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). The result was 28% higher than the 107,100 tons shipped in the same period last year. It is the second-highest monthly volume ever recorded in the sector's history.

The increase was even more significant in terms of revenue. In all, US$341.6 million were recorded in June this year, a balance 45.2% higher than that achieved in the same period last year, with US$235.3 million. The balance achieved in June 2025 is the highest ever recorded in the sector's history.

In the first half of the year, cumulative exports reached 722,000 tons, a volume 17.6% higher than that shipped between January and June 2024, with 613,700 tons. In terms of revenue, exports rose to US$1.723 billion, a balance 32.6% higher than the total obtained in the same period last year, with US$1.300 billion.

The main destination for pork exports in June, the Philippines, imported 33,800 tons, 141.1% more than in the same period last year. Next were China, with 15,400 tons (-6.2%), Japan, with 12,800 tons (+27.7%), Chile, with 11,300 tons (+55.3%), and Singapore, with 9,100 tons (+0.1).

Among the main exporting states, Santa Catarina led the way with 374.3 thousand tons exported in the first half of the year (+11% compared to the same period last year), followed by Rio Grande do Sul, with 158.9 thousand tons (+21.29%), Paraná, with 111.3 thousand tons (+38.81%), Mato Grosso, with 18.5 thousand tons (+5.46%), and Minas Gerais, with 18.4 thousand tons (+54.71%).
