China significantly reduces pork imports

In the first nine months of 2024, China's imports of pork and offal have declined significantly by nearly 21% compared to 2023, reflecting changes in domestic production.

During the January-September 2024 period, China imported 790,000 tons of pork, a 38% decrease compared to the same period in 2023. Offal imports have been more stable, increasing by 4.5% compared to the same period of the previous year with a total of 930,000 t imported.
