Russia - Belgorod region is a leading pork and poultry producer

For ten months of 2008, all agricultural organizations of the region sold 351.8 thousand tons of live poultry and 153.9 thousand tons of live pigs. For pig distribution share of total volume, it amounts to 51.1% (last year it was about 40%).
