Vietnam: Animal feed imports in the first seven months of 2024 worth over 2.91 billion USD

According to preliminary statistics from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's imports of animal feed and raw materials in July 2024 decreased by 16.8% compared to the previous month and was down by 31.6% compared to July 2023, reaching 352.52 million USD.

In the first seven months of 2024, imports of this group of goods reached over 2.91 billion USD, an increase of 2.2% compared to 2023.

The largest imports of animal feed and raw materials came from the Argentine market, accounting for 28.4% of the total import turnover of this group of goods nationwide, reaching nearly 827.06 million USD. The second largest market is the U.S. market, accounting for 22.4%, reaching 652.23 million USD. The Brazilian market follows, accounting for 13.9% of the total turnover, reaching nearly 404.27 million USD.
