Argentina's pork production increases in first half of the year

- Cumulative pork production in the first half of the year totaled 370,708 tons (t), an increase of 5.1% over the same period in 2022 (352,564 t).
- Specifically for the month of June, production reached 64,703 t, up 0.7% compared to the same month of 2022 and down 3.9% compared to last May.
- The average carcass weight in June remained at 96 kg, representing a decrease of 1 kg compared to the same month of the previous year.
- The results by category show an average of 95 kg for barrows, while immunocastrated male pigs reached 101 kg.
