Vietnam's pig production and feed production up from last year

According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam's total pig inventory is estimated to have increased 3.8% year-on-year as of June and the production of live hogs for slaughter is up 5.7% at about 2.12 million tons.
Industrial feed output in the first 6 months of 2022 is estimated at 10.5 million tons, equivalent to the first 6 months of 2021; in which feed for pigs (accounting for 55% of total production) increased by about 13.2%.
