Taiwan votes against banning import of US. pork

On Saturday, Taiwan held a referendum on several issues, including the possible ban on imports of US pork from pigs treated with ractopamine.

The ban on the importation of pork treated with ractopamine was rejected by 4.1 million votes against and 3.9 million in favor.
