ASF Germany: Over 1000 cases confirmed in wild boar

Seven months after the first outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in the wild boar population in Germany, a total of 1,016 cases have been confirmed.

Currently, there are 108 confirmed cases in Saxony and in Brandenburg there are 908 total cases:

District of Spree-Neisse: 72
District of Oder-Spree: 528
District of Märkisch-Oderland: 237
District of Dahme-Spreewald: 49
Frankfurt (Oder): 22

To date, the domestic pig population in Germany remains free of ASF.
