Ukraine - Meat imports sliding down

08-Sep-2009 (16 years 9 months 1 days ago)During the first six months of 2009 Ukraine imported above 212,000 t of red meat which is below the forecast, said the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Mr. Bohdan Danylyshyn.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine expected that this year the import of meat would go down to 250-280,000 t, while the Ministry of Economy predicted reduction of up to 300,000 t.
