Miratorg increases pig production in live weight by 1.9% to 312 thousand tons for the first 9 months of 2018

Miratorg pork division includes 28 modern pig complexes and Russia’s and by the end of September the company’s pig inventory exceeds 2.23 million heads. The company’s high-tech slaughtering and processing facility in Belgorod region processed 2.63 million pigs and increased production by 2% in January-September 2018 and supplying market with 255 thousand tons of products. Production of consumer packaged pork increased by 14% to more than 51 thousand tons.

Miratorg has been consistently enhancing a capacity of its pork division with an aim to increase production of 1 million tons in live weight by 2023, covering almost 100% of today’s demand for import pork.
