ASF in China spreads to a new province

African swine fever has now been detected in the province of Inner Mongolia, in the north of China, beside the border with Mongolia and Russia.
The WOAH/OIE has confirmed two outbreaks in this province: the first one in the municipality of Bieligutai, on a backyard farm with 237 susceptible animals, and the second one in the town of Caiyuan, in the municipality of Shangdu, also on a backyard farm with 159 susceptible animals.
