France: Aveltis and Prestor merge to set up Evel'Up

According to what Le Télégrame has published, Aveltis (Landivisiau) and Prestor (Kersaint-Plabennec), the second and third pig cooperatives in France in terms of their importance, presented last week the new company, Evel 'up, that is the product of their merger.

Evel 'up will have a total production of 4.2 million pigs produced by 1,000 farmers and a total of 800 employees.

With an invoicing of €800 million, Evel 'up becomes one of the pig production leaders and gets near the giant Cooperl.
