Ukraine forbids the import of pigs and their products from Poland

Regarding the appearance of new cases of African swine fever in wild boars in Poland, the Ukrainian veterinary services have decided to forbid the imports of susceptible live animals, as well as their products, genetic material and feeds from the voivodates of Podlaskie, Mazowieckie, Lublin and Varminsko-Mazursk.

The animal feeds intended for pets and subject to a thermal treatment that guarantees the destruction of the PPA virus, and the vegetable or chemical feeds are excluded from this prohibition.
