Ukraine: ASF now affects the region L'viv

The Ukrainian authorities confirmed to the WOAH the appearance of African swine fever (ASF) in the region L'viv, on the west of the country.

Up to now, L'Viv was the only Ukrainian province that hadn’t notified cases of the disease.

There were 5 susceptible animals, of which 3 cases were housed on a backyard farm located in Hrozyovo (Starosambirskyi), very near the border with Poland.
