PED cases rocket in Canada

After more than 7 months without cases of porcine epidemic diarrhoea in Manitoba (Canada), last May a new case was notified that was followed by new confirmations.

Up to now, 34 cases of PED have been detected in only one and a half months since the reappearance of the disease in May, and 44 since the first case of the disease in February 2014.
