Russia to Impose Restrictions on Meat Imports from Japan

28-May-2009 (17 years 16 days ago)Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor) is imposing temporary restrictions on supply of non heat treated pork and pork products from some Prefectures of Japan, as it was published on the Agency’s website.
The ban is linked with registration of А/H1N1 flu outbreak there. The restrictions cover the following prefectures referred to the second zone of risk: Osaka, Hyōgo and Shiga.
