End of the lawsuit against France regarding the “Nitrates Directive”

The Minister of Agriculture of France, Mr. Stéphane Le Foll, informed about the formal decision of the European Commission, validated at the College of Commissioners last Thursday 8 December, of ending the lawsuit regarding the implementation of the “Nitrates Directive”.

The Minister has highlighted the work performed by farmers, stockbreeders and the state services to guarantee a good implementation of the regulations on nitrates and, therefore, a good water quality.
