Brazilian exports of pork continue to rise

Brazilian exports of pork (all products considered) amounted to 61,322 tonnes in June, 29.5% more than the same period last year.

As per the cumulative figure for the year, the sector accumulated an increase of 54.7% over the first half of 2015, a total of 353,300 tonnes.

Revenues in June reached 420.7 million reais, an additional 13% compared with June 2015, while in the period from January to June 2016, revenues reached 2,328 million reais, also a 40.8% increased compared to the first six months of last year.
