Paraguay: work plan to know the Cysticercosis, Neurocysticercosis and Taeniasis status in the country

A technical meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare was held in the meeting room of the National Service of Quality and Animal Health (SENACSA), in order to work together in the development of a plan tht allows them to know the situation in the country in terms of diseases such as Cysticercosis, Neurocysticercosis and Taeniasis.

The technicians said they will prepare a draft with indicators to elaborate a control, prevention and eradication program in case the disease is detected.

It is worth mentioning that such diseases have not been statistically registered in humans in the country.
