Ukraine confirms an outbreak of ASF in domestic pigs

After more than half a year without new cases of African swine fever in the country, last week Ukraine Veterinary Authorities reported to the OIE the detection of the disease in backyard domestic pigs in Peresazh (Ripkynskyi, Chernigov.)

Out of the total population of susceptible animals in the outbreak area —180—, 5 developed symptoms and 3 of those 5 died.
