Canada - More Ontario-grown food in schools, hospitals

This will help Ontario farmers market and sell their products to more consumers.
The government is also making it easier to buy Ontario food in stores and supermarkets. Now, even more Ontario foods — such as meat, dairy, eggs and bakery products — can use the Foodland Ontario brand in their marketing.
Ontario's agri-food industry contributes about $33 billion to the Ontario economy and employs over 700,000 people. This latest investment in this important sector will help secure and create jobs in the industry.
