WelFarmers presented at INDAGRA & INDAGRA FOOD 2025 by Dr. Ioan Ladoși and APCPR

The Romanian Pork Producers Association (APCPR) was present at INDAGRA and INDAGRA FOOD 2025, Romania’s largest agricultural and food industry exhibitions, held at the Romexpo Exhibition Centre in Bucharest from October 29 to November 2, 2025.

APCPR hosted its own exhibition stand within INDAGRA FOOD, where it showcased several of the association’s initiatives, including the WelFarmers project. Promotional materials such as brochures and a roll-up banner helped raise awareness about the project’s objectives and its commitment to sustainable and welfare-oriented pig production in Romania.

As part of the event’s professional program, Dr. Ladoși, Vice President of the Association, presented the WelFarmers project during the Agrovision Conference – INDAGRA 2025 on October 30, 2025, where he shared insights into the project’s objectives, activities, and its contribution to promoting animal welfare and sustainable farming practices.

Furthermore, Dr. Ladoși presented the WelFarmers project during the General Assembly and Conference of APCPR members, held on October 31, 2025, at the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences “Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești” in Bucharest. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the project’s progress and future directions with key stakeholders in the Romanian livestock industry.

These dissemination efforts strengthen WelFarmers’ reach and visibility among pig producers, advisors, and policymakers—helping ensure that the project’s good practices and solutions can inspire real, practical changes across Europe’s pig farms.
